St. Augustine’s Hospital
St. Augustine’s Hospital was a dream of the Diocese of Bongaigaon which was realized in the year 2000. It is a general hospital with the Bed strength of 100 and managed by the Augustinian sisters and registered under the Assam state Health Authority , Dispur. The hospital is situated parallel to the national highway 31 in the district of Chirang, Bordo Land Assam, two K.M away from the city of Bongaigaon. The hospital caters to the rural & urban community in the state of Assam & the neighbouring country of the Kingdom of Bhutan etc.
The hospital provides services through the departments of general medicine, general surgery, Anesthesia, obstetrics & gynecology , paediatrics, operation theatre, intensive care, 24 hours emergency care, medical laboratory, Radiology, Ultra Sonography, Endoscopy , ICU, Pastral care etc at an affordable cost. This hospital serves as a medium for the clinical learning experience of students. The students have ample opportunity to learn the basic as well as advanced skills in the care of patients.
Library
One of the greatest assets of any educational institute is the gallery of Books. St. Augustine’s school of nursing has a specious Library with 50 comfortable seating capacity, more than 2000 professionl books , Journals and periodicals both national & international, Audio- video materials learning CDs, news papers and magazines etc which are easily accessible for faculty and students.

Since we are living in the electronic age and the health care setting is greatly influenced by the information technology , it is upto that the nurses should be well acquainted with computers and their use in the care of patients. It has the provision for internet access which keeps update with the changes and challenges in personal and professional avenue.
Nursing practice Lab
It is well equipped as per norms and requirement of INC having 6 beds with all articles & dummies for tutors to demonstrate & for students to practice.
Anatomy & Micro Biology Lab
The laboratory has a collection of human skeleton, specimen of different parts of the body. Models, dummies, simulators , audio –video CDs and charts.

Microbiology Lab has Microscope, slides & other accessories to facilitate learning.
Nutrition Lab
Nutrition Lab- is furnished with cooking facilities where students learn preparation of various therapeutic and normal diets
M.C.H Lab
The obstetric Manikins along with infants and the birthing simulators keeps the students alive & active.
Community Health Lab
The school provides both rural & urban community health nursing field experience for students. The lab is equipped with community bag, varieties of charts, models of sample village, Maps etc.
Audio Visual Aids
One of the best methods of teaching and learning is with the help of audio visual aids. The school has the LCD projector, computers, DVD players, CD-players, TV, public address system, cameras, printed materials, pamphlets and leaf lets, over head projector, tap recorder, audio video tapes etc.
Multi purpose hall
The multi purpose hall is surrounded by the school & hostel building where we keep varied programs.
Transport
The school possess a 32 seater buss & a 10 seater sumo victa for transporting students and faculty for the field work
Residence
The school hostel is well furnished and ventilated, specious & surrounded by greeneries, flowers, and fruits which is attached to the school building.

St. Augustine’s hospital & school provides campus provides a canteen with meals, snacks, sweets and beverages etc
SNA
The school has a registered SNA unit where the students participate in various competitions in the state.
